Find Hope

Finding hope beyond fear, worry, anxiety, loneliness, mental health and loss

We all need to find hope. We all face different worries and problems in our lives. This world can be a messy place so it’s good to think about how we can navigate and come through problems and life issues well. Someone calls the Samaritans every six seconds (source). These worries, fears, stresses and mental health issues have worsened during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This website is dedicated to offering hope and help. We believe that no matter what, there is always hope. There’s a famous Banksy mural on the South Bank in London called ‘Girl with a Balloon’ with the words nearby saying ‘there is always hope’.

This website is all about hope – finding it, keeping it and living it.

Our desire is that as you look around this site, you will find hope for your life as well as meaning and purpose. You are not an accident and your life matters. You are unique, valuable, significant and loved. Even if you get knocked down, you can get back up again.

Today make a choice to choose hope.

A writer once wrote these words talking about God, “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

The Bible, Jeremiah 29.11

This can be a reality for your present, your future and you can even see your past turned around for good.

Practical and spiritual help

This website offers practical help and isn’t ashamed to say that God can help us and wants to help us in all of life’s problems. The reason we can say this is because we have experienced the reality of God’s help, healing and wholeness.

Whatever we have done, whatever has been done to us, whatever we feel or people have said about us, there is promise of a future, of hope and of living a life of meaning. Imagine having someone standing alongside you who always believes in you and is always for you. They may nudge you back into line when you get off the track (a bit like an athlete running into another lane). But it’s always for your good. This one is for you, your biggest fan and someone who will never abandon you.

So why not ask God to help you today? You can just talk to God and ask him to help you with anything. Ask Him to help you and turn your life the right way up!

You can also go to the Bible. There’s a bit in the middle of the Bible full of poems and creative writing called The Psalms. They are filled with the realities of life, people crying out to God and asking questions. But they are also full of answers, hope and help. Read them and see for yourself.

God is real. He is a God of hope, of help in times of trouble, of comfort, of peace and of truth. His truth will set you free to live a life of meaning; a life that makes a difference and a life of hope. Just ask Him!
